Describe the intended change in use
If you plan to use a property more frequently or throughout the year, explain the present arrangement and intended occupancy. List proposed changes to kitchens, bathrooms, laundry and hot-water use.

Bring the equipment and property records

Clarify scope and coordination
Ask what investigation is required before an installation proposal and which local requirements or other trades need consideration. Distinguish plumbing work from the wider building project and confirm responsibilities in the written scope.
